Graduated in Political Science, Cultural Policies as a major, Elise is an independent arts programmer with specialist experience in cross-cultural collaborations.
For the past 11 years, Elise has been working in various art fields in Europe - France, Hungary - as well as in Asia - Vietnam, Indonesia, Yemen, India - and in Africa - Mauritius. Her arts management experience includes roles with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairsn through its network of Institut Français; roles with organizatons and festival, including Festival d'Avignon.
Since January 2012, Elise is launching her own art & culture company, named "Stubborn in Dreams".

- Coordinated La Rencontre de Budapest – European Forum for emerging authors in Budapest – Hungary – 21>24 April 2005. This conference was organised in collaboration with the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and the International Book Festival of Budapest. It offered elected representatives in charge of culture, as well as professional and young authors from all over Europe to discuss the political and cultural aims of local governments.
Les rencontres is an open forum for debate and action, grouping together elected members from all levels of local government throughout Europe in order to actively take part in the setting up of European cultural policies. Since 1994, the network has facilitated exchange on cultural and educational policies at a local, national and European level.

Founded in 1947 by Jean Vilar, the Avignon Festival is today one of the most important contemporary performing arts events in the world. Every year in July, Avignon becomes a city-theater, transforming its architectural heritage into various performance venues, majestic or surprising, welcoming tens of thousands of theater-lovers (over 130,000 admissions) of all ages. Avignon is also a state of mind: the city is an open-air forum where festival-goers discuss the shows and share their experiences as spectators.
